Colin Hill of the Swalcliffe Society will talk about Swalcliffe’s magnificent medieval barn, the finest barn in Oxfordshire.
Come and find out why it is here, who built it, when and how, and for what purpose, why it is so big and how it fits into Swalcliffe’s medieval landscape. Colin will also explain the role of the Swalcliffe Society in connection with this fine barn and their interest in the general history and archaeology of the area.
