When 93-year-old Thelma Post gets duped by a phone scammer pretending to be her grandson, she sets out on a treacherous quest across the city to reclaim what was taken from her.
The film was inspired by director Josh Margolin‘s 103-year-old grandma named Thelma, who was almost duped by scammers pretending to be her grandson into giving them thousands of dollars. Thelma is played by 95-year-old June Squibb.
