This year will be very different for the Remembrance Sunday Service as the churchyard will continue be closed due to the ongoing reordering of the church building.

Revd. Emily suggests that everyone meets in the Village Hall carpark, facing the War Memorial at 10.55; she together with those who are laying wreaths will stand on the roadside of the church wall where the silhouette of the Soldier and falling Poppies are positioned and the wreaths to be laid there. These will be transferred to the memorial after the Service. Bugler Tony Chittock will play the Last Post.

The Service will continue in the Village Hall with the Collection given to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
